Deep Sea services

Global Wine Logistics has an affiliation with a number of leading shipping lines which enables it to offer flexible services for full container loads and consolidated volume from around the world married to any potential cross trade routes at a time and cost to suit our clients.

Bulk service

With the continued move to improve margins, lead times and demurrage costs Global Wine Logistics offers a full bulk wine movement program.

We can provide through our global network highly trained personnel that understand our customers? requirements from polyethylene flexibags/tanks through to single membrane alloy tanks.

The process and manufacture of our bulk tanks ensures that all beverages will arrive in the same condition as it was loaded.   

european overland services

Global Warehouse Logistics is accredited within the UK with REDS (Registered Excise Dealers and Shippers) status and are in a position to handle all European movements for both duty paid and tax warehouse deliveries.

As REDS agents UK HM Revenue and Customs enable Global Wine Logistics to manage:

  • Deferment
  • Transit Guarantee
  • Goods in Transit
  • Full Freight Forwarder Liability
  • Intrastat Declaration

The Global wine Logistics network allows us to offer extensive services throughout the traditional European locations and we can now compliment this to include the former Eastern Bloc countries.

All European movements that are undertaken by the Global Wine Logistics Network include container for short sea & intermodal services, groupage services, trailer movements and consolidation on wheels both in to and out of the UK.

airfreight services

Global Wine Logistics can offer full and extensive airfreight services from all of the key origin locations around the world. All of our offices have experienced and trained personnel that can manage and deliver your air cargo .whilst ensuring they will maintain service coverage at the most optimal rate and lead time requirement for your business.

Groupage services

GWL offers a full groupage service via our dedicated European partners.  We aim to provide our customers the flexibility and ability to move smaller consignment stock but still receive the benefits of full containerisation.  This is achieved via consolidation of various consignors into one full container load, typically loads are collected by smaller vehicles and moved to one of our dedicated central hubs to allow GWL to effectively group our customers cargo.  GWL also ensure that we move our clients cargo by the most effective method of transportation which offers a competitive rate for small volumes. 

customs management

Global Wine Logistics can act on behalf of any of our clients as either a dedicated Freight Forwarder or as a Custom Agent around the world, be that at country of origin or at point of destination.

If acting in a forwarder capacity Global Wine Logistics will provide a full service that includes moving clients cargo including customs clearance, document management and any classification coding for goods (if so desired).

Global Wine Logistics can also act as a direct or indirect customs clearing agent and ensure that all the client documentation is in order so that cargo can be imported and cleared via customs or the relevant port authorities
